Three of South Africa’s top wineries offer a memorable weekend getaway

Plaisir de Merle, together with sister wineries Nederburg and Durbanville Hills, have joined their efforts to create a memorable weekend experience in the Cape Winelands for groups of four (minimum) to eight (maximum) guests from September to November 2020.

This opportunity is perfect for a group of friends to enjoy wine, food, and picturesque scenery and includes two nights’ accommodation at Plaisir de Merle’s luxurious and historic Manor House. The accommodation includes dinner on the Friday evening, as well as breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Wine lovers will thoroughly enjoy a private cellar tour and wine tasting at Plaisir de Merle and a fun wine blending experience at Nederburg, followed by a glorious wine-and-food pairing lunch presented by Nederburg’s head chef, Jerry Kennedy at their newly renovated The Manor Restaurant. To top it off, guests will also be able to feast on a relaxed lunch at Durbanville Hills’ award-winning Tangram Restaurant while enjoying magnificent views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, and vineyards.

Transport between Plaisir de Merle, Nederburg and Durbanville Hills is included. The offer is available at R3 200 per person or R21 000 in total for groups of eight.

All three wineries implement strict Covid-19 hygiene and safety measures. Guests are required to wear masks and temperatures will be screened upon arrival at each winery. Right of admission is reserved.
